20 May
(see report on Tent Crusade in April)
Co-workers reported abundant blessing upon the service held for converts in Washbank
(KwaHlathi). A 10 day campaign from 19 to 29 April had seen many who came to Christ for
the first time.
The Sunday meeting on 20 May was especially for those who had been saved during the
tent campaign. The meeting place was full of converts, including some local
teachers.
The co-workers reported seeing a visible change in the people and were full of praise
to the Lord who had performed such deep work in these dear brethren.
Alpheus Mdlalose and Wilfred Mabizela then encouraged the believers and addressed them
from Colossians 2: 6 & 7: "As you have therefore received Christ
Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and established in the
faith, as you have been taught, abounding with thanksgiving."
