Weather in KZN
weather-symbols.jpg (12065 bytes)

Quite often visitors request information about the weather at Kwasizabantu Mission. The most important knowledge for visitors from the Northern Hemisphere is that KSB is in Southern Hemisphere where the seasons are the opposite. To complicate matters even futher, the weather at KSB changes rapidly on the same day! It has been known to vary up to 20 degrees Celsius on one day. This is because KSB is at 1,000 metres above sea level and is in a mist belt.
To get an idea of general weather in KZN we suggest you look at a variety of weather services:
* The South African Weather Services, Greytown
* YR for Kranskop
* MIRbig for Kranskop
* Weather in South Africa, Kranskop
* Live weather report on Radio Khwezi's website (Khwezi is based at KSB. Look at bottom-right-hand side of their website)
* satellite image of weather here and here for a large updated satellite image

For a 12km, real-time satellite view, on our co-ordinates, click here.
See live webcams in KwaZulu-Natal: Pietermartizburg, Durban North, Richards Bay, Margate, other South African webcams

If you have better information on weather please email to mail@ksb.org.za with "weather suggestion" in the subject line.
